Local Leaders Support One Young Mindanao Launch


The One Young Mindanao, the advocacy project initiated by Green Valley College, is scheduled to launch in South Cotabato this December 5, 2010 at the Fitmart Mall Convention Center, City of Koronadal.



The Local Executive Government of the City of Koronadal headed by Mayor Peter Miguel, MD with the support of Councilor Ellen Grace Subere-Albios and Councilor Floro Calixton has already committed to support the South Cotabato Launch of One Young Mindanao. Mayor Romulo Solivio of the Municipality of Surallah with the support of Councilor Pinky Divinagracia will also be sending participants for the launch.

The co-convenor, RJ Sustiguer has expressed calls for other leaders to support the OYM initiative. "We would appreciate it if more participants will be able to attend the launch since the coverage of the event will be the entire South Cotabato." The event on December 5 is expected gather around 1000 participants (updated) which are high school students, out of school youth, and young leaders. "To ensure that we able to achieve the desired objective of the launch, more than 25 OYM facilitators have gone through intensive trainings prior to the launch."

Want to participate in the One Young Mindanao South Cotabato Launch? Follow the following steps:

1) Visit the Green Valley College Admission Center

2) Fill up the reservation form and get the OYM Ticket

3) Come during Assembly and Registration Time 7AM at the Fitmart Mall (Side Entrance) on December 5

4) Be in your comfortable wear
