Eco Guides Training participants visit Surallah's Tri-People Monument

Thirty eco guide trainees with their mentors and facilitators visited the Tri-People Monument in Surallah, South Cotabato for a mock tour  last Friday, November 30, 2012. 

They were from  the provinces of Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato who participated in the Eco Guides' Training conducted by the Allah Valley Landscape Development Alliance (AVLDA) and the Local Governance Support Program for Local Economic Development (LGSP-LED). 

Held from November 26-30, 2012 in Mountain Log Resort in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, the Eco Guides' Training aims to prepare member LGU's in the Allah Valley in the projected boom of tourism in the region.
Aside from the Tri-people Monument (Surallah Cultural Landmark) in Surallah, participants were also brought to some of the popular tourism destinations in Esperanza, Isulan, Tacurong City, Banga and Lake Sebu. 

They experienced first hand the Seven Falls Zipline, the 774-steps stairs, the Marguez Hot & Cold Springs, Baras Bird Sanctuary, the Sultan Kudarat Capitol, meet Lang Dulay, visit the School of Indigenous Knowledge & Traditions (SIKAT), the Seven Falls and experienced Boi Henwu Floating Restaurant and Lake Cruising in Mountain Lake Eco Resort.
