LOOK: Blaan-inspired dresses in Philippine Fashion Week

Creations of renowned fashion designer from South Cotabato Jared Servano were recently showcased in the 20th Philippine Fashion Week held at Discovery Primea in Makati City.

The Koronadal-born artist who won the 1st Runner-up in the Project Runway Philippines last year and represented the country in the International Fashion Showcase (IFS) during the London Fashion Week held last February at the Somerset House in London, United Kingdom is known for his unique creations that showcases local culture and tradition with a modern touch.

During the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2016, Servano presented his collection titled Albong Odyssey which showcased his creations and designs inspired by Albong, the traditional Blaan woman’s dress.
