Brgy. Cannery Site the second most populated barangay of Polomolok, South Cotabato and also the home of the cannery and processing plants of multinational company Dole Philippines (Dolefil) is all set for the celebration of its 22nd Foundation Anniversary and 6th Pinyahan Festival.
Happening from August 28- September 1, Pinyahan Festival 2013 as the name suggest gives importance to Cannery Site's main source of income - the pineapple.
Among the most anticipated events of the week-long Pinyahan Festival 2013 are the Sky Lantern and Fireworks Display on the 28th of August, Parada at Lumba Karabaw (Carabao Race & Parade) on the 29th, and the coronation night of the Mutya ng Cannery Site 2013 on August 31.
