LGU-Tboli named Best Tourism-Oriented LGU at the 24th ATOP-Pearl Awards


The Municipality of Tboli achieved a milestone with regard to its tourism program after bagging a pair of major awards in this year's Pearl Awards by the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) held in Boracay Island in Aklan.

LGU-Tboli was named the Grand Winner for Best Tourism-Oriented Local Government Unit (Municipal Level) this year. The award highlights LGU-Tboli's commitment to advancing tourism as a key driver of economic growth and development in the area. This recognition acknowledges the LGU's efforts in promoting sustainable tourism practices and providing quality services to visitors.

Apart from the top award as the top Tourism Oriented LGU, Sitio Kule, the "Gateway to Crown Jewel of the South - Lake Holon" was awarded 1st Runner-up for Best Practices in Community-Based Tourism (Municipal Level).

The accolades received by Municipality of Tboli underscore the importance of local government support in boosting the tourism industry, preserving cultural heritage, and fostering community development.
