The son of a police officer in Sultan Kudarat topped this year's PNPA graduating class composed of 15 females and 232 male police cadets.
Before he entered the PNPA, Yuson studied at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University where he earned a bachelors degree in education major in mathematics. In 2010, he was one of the winners of the General Santos City Youth Achievers Award.
In an interview on GMA News TV's "News To Go" on Thursday, Yuzon said that he believes that their class, the "Lakandula" class which name stands for “Lahing Kayumanggi na handang ialay sa bayan ang Dugo at Lakas” will be the new breed of police officers who can regain the trust and the confidence of the public, by serving with integrity and loyalty.
“Malaking tulong ang aming pagsasanay sa loob lalo na ang core values na itinuro sa amin like justice, integrity and service. Kung gaano man kahirap ang hamon sa labas ng akademiya, pipilitin namin maka-serve sa bayan ng buong katapatan,” Yuson added.
The graduation rites for PNPA Lakandula Class 2015 will be held on March 26 at the PNPA compound in Silang, Cavite.
