Malacañang declares January 10 a holiday in Koronadal City

Malacañang has declared January 10, 2012 as a special non-working day in Koronadal City in celebration of its 72nd founding anniversary and the 13th Hinugyaw Festival.


By virtue of Proclamation 525 signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa, Jr. on December 13, 2012 Malacanang declared January 10 which falls on a Thursday as a special non-working day. The holiday will give the people of Koronadal City the full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion.

DECLARING TUESDAY, 10 JANUARY 2012, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO

WHEREAS, Thursday, 10 January 2012, marks the 73nd Foundation Day anniversary and the 13th Hinugyaw Festival of the City of Koronadal.


WHEREAS, It is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Koronadal be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occassion with appropriate ceremonies.


NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Exacutive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Tuesday, 10 January 2012, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Koronadal.


IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
