South Cotabato to experience 10-hour BROWNOUT tomorrow!

SOCOTECO-1 has scheduled for a power shutdown which will last up to 10 hours affecting its ENTIRE COVERAGE AREA tomorrow, July 22, 2012 (Sunday); 7am to 5pm. According to SOCOTECO-1 this is to facilitate the replacement of identified rotten 69 kV structures, installation of 69 kV sectionalizers, clearing of tree branches within ROW of 69 kV line and other related activities to be carried-out by the Area maintenance.

Socoteco-I covers the municipalities of Tampakan, Tantangan, Banga, Norala, Surallah, T’boli, Sto. Nino and Lake Sebu in South Cotabato, Lutayan town in Sultan Kudarat and the City of Koronadal.
