The local government unit of Tupi, South Cotabato is set to build a new public transport terminal right at the existing public terminal located in the main entrance of Tupi Public Market. The present buildings of waiting sheds and a ticket booth will be demolished to pave way for the construction of the new Tupi Public Terminal.
As shown in the perspective above, the proposed new Tupi Public Terminal will be a two-storey building with the ground floor to be utilized for public transport terminal (buses, jeepneys, puv's, etc.) and the second floor to be used for commercial spaces and offices.
The construction of the new Tupi Public Terminal will be under the management of the newly-created Municipal Economic Enterprise and Development Office (MEEDO) and has an initial budget of P 800,000.00 with the local government unit still sourcing out funds from other sources to augment the initial budget.
We are looking forward to the start of the construction and the completion of the new Tupi Public Terminal.
