Construction of the Upper Valley Community Hospital located in Brgy. Dajay in Surallah is now nearing completion.
As shown in the following photos taken yesterday (April 12, 2013), interior works is on full blast while the main building's exteriors are almost done .
In a report published at the official website of South Cotabato, the Upper Valley Community Hospital which is an extension facility of the South Cotabato Provincial Hospital (SCPH) will begin operation by the second half of the year and will mainly cater to the towns of Lake Sebu, Sto.Niño, T'boli, Banga and Surallah.

Upper Valley Community Hospital will initially start with 40 beds and an estimated budget of P30 million for personnel, maintenance and other operating expenses for its first year of operation.
The report also said that South Cotabato Governor Arthur Y. Pingoy, Jr. is pushing for the Upper Valley Community Hospital to become a regional-level hospital considering the strategic location and the extensive land area.
