IN PICTURES: Ilonggos lined up to "savor" the 12th Paradise


Hundreds of Ilonggos and visitors lined up to have their share of tuna sashimi being distributed for free at the "SAVOR in Paradise" booth during the opening of the travel exhibits and selling mission of the Department of Tourism Region 12 dubbed as "Luring Iloilo to 12th Paradise" at SM City Iloilo earlier today, March 21, 2014. 


Two huge tunas were brought to Iloilo by the City Government of General Santos. The city is dubbed as the Tuna Capital of the Philippines.

The "Savor in Paradise" showcases the mouthwatering food in the region and is only one of the offerings of the 12th Paradise promotional campaign of the Department of Tourism Regional Office 12.


In full force in enticing Ilonggos to visit the Tuna Capital were City Tourism Officer of General Santos Maria Cora C. Tito, Gensan Hoteliers Association head Philip Pabellic, the first lady and chairman of GSC Tourism Council Jane Rivera, councilors Shandee Llido Pestaño & Dominador Lagare III and Mrs. Leah Tolimao, Chief of Staff of the City Mayor.
The 12th Paradise exhibits will run until Sunday, March 23, 2014.
