The City of General Santos celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with the annual Paskuhan sa Gensan. This year's theme is "Ang Pasko ng Pamilyang Heneral, Pasko ng Pasasalamat".
The month-long Paskuhan sa Gensan celebration kicked-off last Friday, December 5 with the Lighting of Trees at Plaza Heneral Santos and the Opening of Christmas Carnival and "Pamilihan sa Paskuhan" at the Oval Plaza.
On Thursday, December 11, a Lantern Parade will once again be held at the Oval Plaza Grandstand spearheaded by the University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA).
The Grand Opening Ceremony of Paskuhan sa Gensan 2014 will be held on Friday, December 12.
This year's schedule also includes Movies at the Park, local schools showtime, the inter-school drum and lyre competition, Christmas Caroling Competition, Gensan Campus Idol, Talentadong Heneral, and the first Gensan Pyrotechnic Competition.
