Another festival in South Cotabato I am excited to attend next weekend is the Panaadan Festival of Brgy. Crossing Rubber, in the Municipality of Tupi.
A celebration that also gives tribute to the Sto. Niño, Panaadan Festival is Brgy. Crossing Rubber's version of the Sinulog and Ati-atihan of the Visayas as most of the residents in the area are from Aklan, Iloilo and Cebu. Most anticipated event during the festival is the annual ati-atihan competition.
The celebration which is also in line with Crossing Rubber's Foundation Anniversary will officially begin on Tuesday, January 20 and will end on January 26, 2015. Other activities includes, floral parade, mass dance competition, pageant, sports events and variety shows.
