Tboli National High School won 2nd Runner-up in the recently concluded Payless Giant Parol-Making Contest, a Mindanao-wide competition spearheaded by Universal Robina Corporation.
Tboli NHS will receive P40,000 worth of school development projects as prize for their winning entry made from empty Payless Instant Mami wrappers donated by students, parents and teachers.
According to reports, this year's giant parol-making contest was participated by at least 30 schools from all over Mindanao. The competition aims to encourage students to be more resourceful, creative and to build camaraderie among teachers, students and parents.
Nabunturan National High School from Compostela Valley took the grand prize of P100,000 worth of school development projects while the 1st Runner-up Tagoloan National High School in Misamis Oriental won P75,000 worth of development projects for their school.
