Two of South Cotabato's premier hip-hop groups- Ground Zero and Xtreme Dancers emerged victorious in the recently concluded Mindanao Leg Finals of Battlegrounds Philippines 2015 held on Sunday, April 12 in Davao City.
Xtreme Dancers finished a strong second while Ground Zero bagged the 4th Place of the competition participated by at least 40 of the best hip-hop dance crews in southern Philippines.

Cagayan de Oro City's Urban Myx was declared as this year's open category winner of Battleground Philippines - Mindanao Leg.
Both groups from South Cotabato are qualified to compete and represent the Philippines in one of the biggest international hip-hop competitions this year- the World Supremacy Battlegrounds which will be held on October 1-4 in Brisbane City, Australia.
Ramon Vince Andre Gonzales, one of the members of Xtreme Dancers said in an online interview that they will do their best to find means to be able to compete in Australia. "We will conduct dance workshops and probably a fund-raising event for the competition," he added.
Gonzales also thanked their fans and asked for continued support for their upcoming competition.
"Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa Xtreme Dancers, Sa mga naniniwala sa kakayahan ng mananayaw ng Timog Cotabato. We dance to inspire."
