Marcos, Duterte officially proclaimed president-elect and vice president-elect of the Philippines

Former Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio are both proclaimed as president-elect and vice president-elect of the Republic of the Philippines, respectively.

Both are set to assume office on June 30, 2022.

Marcos Jr. received 31,104,175 votes while Duterte received 31,561,948 votes. This is the biggest number of votes a president-elect has received in the history of Philippine elections.
