A total of 328 beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) program from Bangsamoro Communities in the Municipalities of Tupi, Tantangan, Polomolok, and Banga received their wages during the cash payout event held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the South Cotabato Capitol Compound.
The payout event was organized under the leadership of DOLE 12 Regional Director Joel M. Gonzales, in collaboration with Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. of the Province of South Cotabato, Ministry of Labor and Employment-BARMM Minister Muslimin G. Sema, Deputy Minister Tommy Nawa, Local Chief Executives, and the leaders of the identified Bangsamoro Communities in South Cotabato.
The beneficiaries were compensated with a total of P1,810,560.00, receiving P5,520 each for their 15 days of work.
This implementation is designed to contribute to peace and development within the families of Bangsamoro Communities in SOCCSKSARGEN, demonstrating the commitment to supporting and uplifting the lives of disadvantaged workers in the region
