Governor Tamayo swiftly mobilizes aid for earthquake victims in Polomolok, Tupi and Koronadal

In response to the recent earthquake's impact, Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. has taken decisive action by issuing a directive for the immediate release of aid to affected residents. A comprehensive relief effort through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (PDRRMO) unfolded, reaching barangays affected by the 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Polomolok, Tupi and Koronadal City.

Affected individuals received vital assistance in the form of Hygiene Kits, Sleeping Kits, Relief Goods, and Kitchen Kits. The provincial government also gave cash assistance to some mall workers in City of Koronadal which temporarily stopped operations for days. The distribution aimed to address the immediate needs of those severely affected by the earthquake.

Governor Tamayo expressed heartfelt sympathy for the victims, emphasizing the unwavering commitment to solidarity in times of adversity. This swift and coordinated response underscores the dedication of local authorities to provide timely support and comfort to their constituents during challenging times.
