Palace declares January 10 as holiday in Koronadal City

In celebration of the Hinugyaw Festival 2024 and the 84th Founding Anniversary of Koronadal City, January 10, 2024, has been officially declared a Special (non-working) Holiday by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 416 series of 2023 from Malacañang.

The proclamation, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, was issued by authority of President Ferdinand R. Marcos on December 4, 2023. The declaration aims to provide residents and visitors the opportunity to participate in the festivities and commemorate the rich cultural heritage and history of Koronadal City.

Hinugyaw Festival is a significant event for the residents of Koronadal, showcasing vibrant street dancing, cultural presentations, and various activities that highlight the city's unique traditions.
