South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. and BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim hold fruitful meeting in Cotabato City

On Monday, April 8, 2024 South Cotabato Governor and Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) President Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. met with BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim at the Office of the Chief Minister inside the Bangsamoro Government Center in Cotabato City. The meeting, which lasted for nearly two hours, was marked by constructive discussions and significant exchanges.

Accompanying Governor Tamayo were officials of the PFP-BARMM region, signifying the collective effort and engagement of the party in the dialogue. Also present at the meeting were members and officials of the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), chaired by Chief Minister Ebrahim, who also serves as the president of UBJP and the chairman of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

In his Facebook post, Governor Tamayo conveyed sincere gratitude to BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim, Minister Mohagher Iqbal, Cotabato City Mayor Bruce Matabalao, and all those who warmly welcomed him and his colleagues from the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.

At tayo'y lubos na nagpapasalamat kay BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim at Minister Mohagher Iqbal, gayundin kay Cotabato City Mayor Bruce Matabalao at sa lahat sa kanilang napakainit na pagtanggap sa atin at sa ating mga kasamahan mula sa Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.

A reliable source revealed that the discussions during the meeting were fruitful, reflecting the commitment of both leaders to foster cooperation and collaboration for the progress and development of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and surrounding regions.
