On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, a significant number of political figures, including 11 Governors, 14 Vice Governors, and 3 Congressmen, formally joined the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) during an oathtaking ceremony held at Diamond Hotel in Pasay City. The ceremony was administered by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., who serves as the party chairman.
President Marcos emphasized that the PFP is consolidating its forces in anticipation of the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.
