Governor Tamayo receives deputation badge from NAPOLCOM

Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr received the deputation badge from the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) on Tuesday, June 26, 2024. The badge was presented by NAPOLCOM-12 Assistant Regional Director Veronica Hatague, marking the formal acknowledgment of the Governor's appointment as a NAPOLCOM Deputy. This role entails overseeing and managing police units within the province.

According to NAPOLCOM Resolution No. 2023-1306, elected or re-elected governors and mayors are deputized as NAPOLCOM representatives in their respective territories. This deputation grants them the authority to exercise the functions outlined in Section 51 of Republic Act No. 6975, as amended by Sections 62 and 63 of Republic Act No. 8851.

Governor Tamayo expressed commitment to upholding this duty with the utmost dedication, emphasizing the importance of working collaboratively with law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and order in the province.
