As the founder of SEAIT, Governor Tamayo took the time to address thousands of students, sharing the vision behind the institution and the true essence of the province’s Free Education Program—to inspire students to strive for excellence and achieve their dreams without financial barriers.
Governor Tamayo emphasized that SEAIT remains a beacon of accessible, high-quality education, ensuring that financial difficulties are never a hindrance to academic success.
Currently, over 20,000 students are enrolled in SEAIT, not only from South Cotabato but also from neighboring provinces and regions, proving its impact and growing reach in providing free education. Since its founding in 2006, SEAIT has produced thousands of professionals, helping transform the lives of many young Filipinos through education.“Walang dahilan para hindi makapag-aral! Sa SEAIT, automatic scholar ka na—hindi mo na kailangang lumapit kung kanino man. Ang kailangan mo lang gawin ay mag-enroll, magsipag, magpursige, at tapusin ang iyong pag-aaral. Naniniwala tayo na ang edukasyon pa rin ang susi sa mas magandang kinabukasan.”
Governor Tamayo also called for continued unity and collective efforts to sustain and expand equal opportunities for education, regardless of economic status.
Under his leadership, South Cotabato has set the benchmark for free and quality education, with the province’s initiative serving as a model for other LGUs aiming to uplift the lives of students through sustainable and inclusive education programs.“Ating hinihikayat ang lahat na ipagpatuloy ang pagkakaisa upang patuloy din tayong makapagbigay ng pantay na oportunidad sa de-kalidad na edukasyon—anumang estado sa buhay ang pinanggalingan!”
With Governor Tamayo’s dedication, South Cotabato continues to lead the way in shaping a future where every student has the opportunity to succeed—free of charge, full of hope, and fueled by determination.
