Set from September 6-10, this year's F'lomlok Festival celebration is now on the 10th year and will be in commemoration of the town's 56th founding anniversary. The festival was named after a B'laan word "F'lomlok" which means hunting grounds, it is also from where the name of the town Polomolok was derived, because of its abundance of wild life in the past and even until now.
Many exciting events are lined up for the 5-day celebration, among these are the torch and float parade, Mountain Bike Cross Country Competition, Polomolok Got Talent, Cheer leading competition, and the Drum and Lyre Competition which will be participated by different schools in Polomolok. There will be also tree planting activities, blood letting and a job fair.
As shown in the updated F'lomlok Festival 2013 Schedule of Events below, looks like there will be a lot of celebrities coming from Manila to join in this year's festivities and that all artists invited by the municipal government will be coming from GMA Network. There will be a Kapuso Fiesta Concert on September 7 and the Kapuso Night Concert on September 5.
I am excited to know who among the rosters of celebrities from the Kapuso Network will be coming to Polomolok to celebrate with South Cotabateños the 10th F'lomlok Festival, how about you?
Meanwhile, below is the Schedule of Events for F'lomlok Festival 2013.
