City of Koronadal join Chingay Parade in Singapore

Headed by no less than City Mayor Peter B. Miguel together with other city officials, the City of Koronadal joined this year's Chingay Parade, one of the grandest street and float parades in Asia held annually in Singapore. 

The City of Koronadal is the representative of the Philippines in Chingay Parade 2014 which showcased the rich, vibrant multi-culture of Singapore and exciting global cultures. The two-day event held from February 7-8 according to reports was participated by more than 2,000 parade volunteers, 8,000 volunteer performers and around 500 performers from seven (7) countries namely China, Indonesia, Italy, Myanmar, South Korea, Philippines and the host country, Singapore .

Our performers from Koronadal in their traditional "malong" costumes performed the Inaul Malong dance in front of thousands of spectators. The Chingay Parade 2014 was also broadcasted to millions of television viewers and online.
