NDMU student among new Google Student Ambassadors

A student of Notre Dame of Marbel University is among the list of students recently selected to become part of this year's Google Student Ambassador Program in the Philippines.

Esnehara Bagundang, an incoming senior BS Information Technology student of NDMU successfully passed the "tough and lengthy" selection process at Google along with other students from some of the top universities in the country including Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle, Far Eastern University and Xavier University just to name a few.

According to Google Philippines, hundreds of college students have submitted applications to become Google Student Ambassador this year, but only 37 successfully passed.

According to Google Student Blog, the GSA program is an opportunity for students to act as liaisons between Google and their universities. These ambassadors will learn about innovative Google products and programs, plan and host events on campus, act as a campus contact for Google teams and help Google better understand each university’s culture.

They should also be passionate about Google technologies and actively involved in their school communities.

Ms. Esnehara Bagundang is one of this year's five (5) Google Student Ambassadors from Mindanao and the first from NDMU.

Also on the list is Jan Louis Gazo who originally hails from the City of Koronadal and currently studying at University of San Carlos in Cebu City.

Congratulations South Cotabateños!
