South Cotabato towns to experience 13-hour brownout on Sunday

The South Cotabato II  Electric Cooperative Inc. (SOCOTECO-2) announced on Thursday that parts of South Cotabato will experience up to 13 hours of power interruption on Sunday, June 7, 2015.

According to a power advisory posted at the SOCOTECO-2 Facebook page, the areas to be affected will be the towns of Polomolok and Tupi.

The power outage which will be from 4 AM to 5 PM, is due to the upgrading of Polomolok substation from 10MVA to 20MVA.

Up to 4 hours power interruption will be also experienced in parts of General Santos City on Saturday, June 6, 2015 due to the replacement of broken cross-arm along the National Highway- J. Catolico Avenue. Check out the following power advisory by SOCOTECO-2.
