PhilHealth XII Acting Regional Vice President, Marjorie A. Cabrieto acknowledged Sarangani Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Arvin A. Alejandro and SHCF Chief of Hospital, Dr. Ailyn M. Brion for the support.

“Thank you for allowing 100 Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) to come and witness the opening. I am sure, as partners in the advocacy, it would be easier for us bring the message across our target clients. Residents from nearby municipalities like Glan, Malapatan, Malungon including those who are from Davao del Sur and Balot Island, may come and tell us their concerns. I hope that you will help us tell more our indigent and sponsored members and their beneficiaries about this,” ARVP Cabrieto said.

“Tama lang gyud nga naa nai PhilHealth dinhi para duol sa atoa. Unta ang Sarangani Health Care Facility ma accredit na pud kay daghan pasyente gikan ning dapita nga naa na lang permanente mudulog sa Royeca Hospital sa Gensan,”

“It’s a must that PhilHealth should set up their Service Desk in this area. I hope that Sarangani Health Care Facility would soon be accredited since patients flock at the Royeca Hospital most of the time in Gen. Santos,” BHW President, Gina Manisan said.

Dr. Alejandro pledged to submit and comply all the necessary requirements for immediate accreditation of said facility for the benefit of all PhilHealth members and beneficiaries in the area.

In behalf of SHCF, Dr. Brion committed to abide by PhilHealth rules and regulations. She is aspiring for the second level accreditation status of their hospital.

She also spoke in behalf of other government hospitals in Glan, Malungon, Maasim, Kiamba and Maitum.

Sarangani Provincial Governor Office Chief of Staff, Cesar Cagas assured PhilHealth that the Governor’s Office is willing to make everything come in full circle as he mentioned that health is everybody’s wealth and must not be taken for granted by the government.

“I am honestly grateful that PhilHealth Office is getting closer to our doorstep. It certainly is of great help especially for the marginalized community. We are looking forward to the immediate accreditation of Sarangani Hospital. PGO is always here for the support,” he said.

Field Operations Division Chief, Engr. Eugenio C. Donatos, II on the other hand, reminded BHWs to inform PhilHealth members and beneficiaries in their respective communities to visit the Service Desk from time to time and update their records in order to avoid inconvenience in times of emergency.

Like the Service Desk in Kalamansig, said office opens Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 – 5:00 except on holidays
