Koronadal City, South Cotabato archers lead archery competitions

South Cotabato and Koronadal City Archers dominate the two-day archery competition held at the Mary Mount High School in Koronadal City on the second day of the Cotabato Regional Athletic Association
(CRAA) Meet.

South Cotabato lady archer Precious Jalyn Esprela got her first gold medal yesterday for her 30- meter distance with 303 total points leaving behind Aleah Macasa of Cotabato City with 269 point score for the second place and Koronadal City’s Kathy Rose Vilbar, 257 points for the third place.

Esprela collected two more Gold today for the 40 and 50 m distances.

She garnered a total point of 298 pts on the 40 m distance; while Lady Prea Marcelino and Kathy Rose Vilbar of Koronadal City comes second and third placers with total scores of 244 and 242 respectively.

For the 50 –meter distance, Aleah Macarasa of Cotabato City got second place with 257 points; while Kathy Rose Vilbar of Koronadal City maintained her third spot with the scores of 269.

Male counterparts from Koronadal City are dominating the 30-meter distance, winning all medals for the said category; and the 40-meter distance.

Elmar Rigor and his two team mates Noel Lumpot Jr. and Kier Brian Lumentac won all Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively after garnering total scores of with 313, 312 and 299.

Rigor still dominates the 40-meter distance with 286 points; while South Cotabato’s Russel Planto and Aljohn Bantolo comes second and third placers with 273 and 271 points.(PIO South Cotabato)
