AYP Tambayan opens in Polomolok, South Cotabato

AYP (Association of Youth in Polomolok) is an organization of 25 out-of-school youths and young leaders in Polomolok  headed by Melvin Dayot, the group is one of the many  beneficiaries of the SEA-K program of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office of South Cotabato (PSWDO) under the leadership of South Cotabato governor Hon. Arthur Y. Pingoy, Jr. M.D.

AYP Tambayan is a barbecue and food house in Polomolok , a livelihood program of South Cotabato governor Hon. Arthur Y. Pingoy, Jr. M.D. and is being funded by SEA-K.

The SEA-K (Self-Employment Assistance- Kaunlaran ) program is one of the government’s core poverty reduction programs, that provides livelihood to qualified poor beneficiaries 16 years old and above. The P5,000.00 livelihood loan from SEA-K received by each of the 25 member-beneficiaries of AYP were used to fund the establishment of AYP Tambayan which aims to promote entrepreneurship among its youth members increase understanding on values of honest work, pay debts, have social responsibility; and increase their income.
