South Cotabato celebrates Pacquiao's latest victory

From General Santos City to the City of Koronadal, the people in South Cotabato celebrates  as Manny Pacquiao wins another close fight against Juan Miguel Marquez held over a crowd of more than 16,000 at the  MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 12, 2011.

In General Santos City, more than 8,000 people flocked at  the Lagao Gymnasium to watch the free viewing of the bout prepared by the General Santos City-LGU, while many establishments offered promos to attract customers to eat and watch Pacquiao vs Marquez’s third fight. In Koronadal, thousands of people packed the South Cotabato Gymnasium  and Cultural Center  to watch the no-commercial free viewing  by KCC Mall of Marbel of the Pacquiao-Marquez trilogy live via satellite. There were also free viewing  via big screen of the fight at different gymnasiums, parks and many establishments in  other towns of South Cotabato.

Manny Pacquiao wins over Marquez in a majority decision that retained his World Boxing Organisation welterweight title. Manny Pacquiao now holds a record of  54 Wins, 3 Losses, 2 Draws and 38 Knockouts.

Congratulations Manny! You are truly the world’s best boxer and the undisputed pound-for-pound king.
