Helobung Festival 2012 Schedule of Activities

With the theme "Moving forward amidst bio cultural diversity and coping with climate change for a better future", the celebration of Helobung Festival 2012 and 29th Foundation Anniversary of the Municipality of Lake Sebu is all set.

Helobung is a T'boli word which means "never-ending joy". During the week-long festivities, the T'boli tribe showcases their arts, culture, sports and other traditions like the Seket Kuda or horse fight. Other highlights of the Helobung Festival 2012 includes the search for Mutya ng Lake Sebu and the street dancing competition which depicts the dances, music and traditional costumes of the T'boli tribe.
