May 2013 Election: Tupi List of Candidates

It's round #2 of the Rojas vs. Tamayo mayoralty race in Tupi, South Cotabato this upcoming May 2013 Elections. It can be recalled that Nonoy Rojas was also the opponent of now incumbent Mayor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr in the last election in May 2010.

Seeking for his second term as mayor of Tupi and running under the banner of the Liberal Party, Tamayo is joined by the majority of the incumbent officials of the town including six (6) incumbent municipal councilors (namely Councilor Efren Buca, Councilor Glenn Hatulan, Councilor Richard Hatulan, Councilor Weynard John Cornejo, Councilor Noel Escobillo and Councilor Armando Kasan) and incumbent vice-mayor Valentin Mariano Jr. who is also seeking for his second term. 

Mariano is being challenged in the vice-mayoralty race by independent candidate Ma. Teresa Juarigue.

Meanwhile, Rojas who is running under the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) has two incumbent municipal councilors in his line-up, they are Councilor Honorio Cornejo III and Councilor Alexander Robleza. Check out the complete list below:
