South Cotabateño artist shines at International Art Festival

A full blooded South Cotabateño who works as an Au Pair in Denmark was recently named Artist of the Year in the International Art Festival held in Kerteminde, Denmark.

Bong Delfin  who was born and raised in Koronadal City bested other 102 participating artists from 12 countries in the three-year-old International Film Festival.
Bong Delfin got featured in  a Danish website after winning the Artist of the Year Award in Denmark.
Bong discovered his talent at the age of 7 when he vigorously finished copying images from comic strips. Then by the age of 13, Bong already learned t-shirt/silk screen printing. He mastered the technique and began earning from it which supported his studies in college. He finished engineering at Notre Dame of Marbel University.

In 2011, Bong Delfin moved to Denmark and worked as an Au Pair. Fortunately, his host family who discovered his talent in painting supported him and helped him pursue his interest which he has never taken seriously when he was still in the Philippines.

On August 30 - September 7, 2013, Bong Delfin will once again represent the Philippines in the Images Festival 2013 in Denmark. He is asking for our support by watching and sharing the following video.
