Mixed Martial Arts fans here in South Cotabato and neighboring places will be in for a treat this coming January 9, 2014 as the City Government of Koronadal in celebration of the 14th Hinugyaw Festival will be staging the first ever MMA event in the city.
The MMA event dubbed as "Slugfest 2014" will feature skilled mixed martial arts fighters from nine (9) teams coming from different parts of Mindanao and the Visayas. Also to watch out are Koronadal's homegrown MMA warriors including Raynald Tumampos which will fight inside the cage against Marlon Cruzpero in the supporting main event.

Slugfest 2014, the first ever mixed martial arts event in the City of Koronadal will be held at South Cotabato Gym & Cultural Center.
It is a FREE event, entrance stub can be availed at the office of Sen. Junette I. Hurtado. There will be also distribution of Entrance Stub at the press conference and weigh-in to be held on January 8, 2 PM at Gaisano Grand Mall of Koronadal.
