In preparation for the Department of Tourism's Visit Philippines 2015 campaign and to promote and market the regions various destinations, the DOT office in Region 12 is set to launch the 12th Paradise Tour Packages on July 18, 2014 at the South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center, City of Koronadal.
More or less 20 tour packages will be presented during the event which is also aimed at imparting appropriate information on the region's identified attractions and generating income to the tourism stakeholders.
The 12th Paradise is Region 12's tourism brand. It focuses on what the region can offer as a paradise through its world-class natural and cultural destinations. These includes "float in paradise" for the various water activities, "shower in paradise" for the different waterfalls, "dip in paradise" for the underwater experiences, "immerse in paradise" for the distinct flora and fauna, "wear in paradise" for the different traditional clothing, "dance in paradise" for the cultural dances, "create in paradise" for the artistic prowess of the people, "delight in paradise" for the scenic sites, "marvel in paradise" for the historical structures, "play in paradise" for the various sports events, "savor in paradise" for the delicacies and "explore in paradise" for the natural adventure activities.
Different tour operators accredited by DOT will be also introduced during the launching of the 12th Paradise Tour Packages and the seven (7) nominees from Region 12 to the National Tourism Star Awards will be also recognized.
