Japan-based South Cotabateño boxer Jonathan Baat is now in Mexico for his fight set this Saturday, October 25, 2014 against depending champion and Mexican boxer Rodrigo Guerrero .
The 34-year old boxer from Norala, South Cotabato will face the much younger Guerrero, only 26 years old, in a 12-round bout to be held at the Auditorio Centenario, Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico. It will be Jonathan Baat's first major boxing fight which he earned after defeating Artid Sor Worapin of Thailand last Sept. 28 in Toyama, Japan via a technical knockout in the fifth round.
Jonathan Baat now holds a record of 27 wins, 5 losses and 3 draws with 13 wins coming by way of knockout while his opponent Rodrigo Guerrero has 21 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw with 14 of his wins coming by way of knockout.
At stake this Saturday is Guerrero's WBC International Silver Bantamweight title.
