Eight people were killed while several others were injured when a public utility van collided with a white Ford Everest in Banga, South Cotabato, a radio report said.
The collision happened at Crossing Kipot, Brgy. Liwanay, Banga, South Cotabato past 2 PM Friday, December 19, 2014.
The report quoted witnesses as saying that fatalities of the said collision involving a Ford Everest with plate number NIB-794 and a public utility van with plate number MVV-270 included a pregnant woman.
Among those confirmed dead were the drivers of both vehicles identified as Rene Tablazon (passenger van) resident of Sto. Niño and Abdul Habib Daligdig (driver of Ford Everest); Lorna Nicor of Tboli; Mae Joy and Leony Mae Panes residents of Agan East Phase III, Koronadal City; Gladys Dalidig of Victory Homes, Koronadal City and two other victims still unidentified.
