An official of South Cotabato Electric Cooperative -1 (SOCOTECO-1) assured boxing fans within their service areas that there will be no power interruptions this coming Sunday, May 3, 2015.

On May 3, the Filipino boxing icon and eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao will face the undefeated and five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr in a highly anticipated boxing match dubbed as "Fight of the Century" at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
SOCOTECO-1 covers seven municipalities in the Province of South Cotabato, the City of Koronadal and the town of Lutayan in Sultan Kudarat.
