Polomolok is South Cotabato's Cleanest & Greenest Municipality for 2015

The Municipality of Polomolok  won big in this year's Search for the Cleanest and Greenest Municipality by the provincial government of South Cotabato.

In the awarding ceremony held earlier, July 10, 2015 during the opening program of T'nalak Festival 2015 at the South Cotabato Sports Complex in the City of Koronadal, Polomolok headed by Mayor Honey Lumayag-Mati was declared as the province's cleanest and greenest town for 2015 it also bagged most of the special awards of the competition. Best Public Market - Polomolok
Best Plaza & Parks - Polomolok
Best Material Recovery Facility - Polomolok
Best Community Garden - Brgy. Pagalungan, Polomolok
Best Backyard Garden - Edwin Gonzaga from Pagalungan, Polomolok

Best Barangay
1st Place - Veterans, Surallah
2nd Place - Lunen, Tupi
3rd Place - Pagalungan, Polomolok

Best Municipal Nursery - Polomolok
Best Roadside Beautification - Surallah
Best Public Toilet - Polomolok

Cleanest & Greenest Municipality 
1st Place - Polomolok
2nd Place - Surallah
3rd Place - Tupi
4th Place - Tampakan
5th Place - Tboli
6th Place - City of Koronadal

Most Improved Municipality - Norala

Polomolok won the P800,000 cash prize and a plaque for being this year's cleanest and greenest municipality while the municipalities of Surallah and Tupi received a plaque and P500,000 and P300,000 respectively. Tampakan, Tboli and the City of Koronadal also received a trophy and the P50,000 cash prize each.
