More than 100 grilling stations and hundreds of kilos of fish were grilled last Friday, September 4, 2015 for thousands of people who flocked to Pioneer Avenue in General Santos City for the first-ever Sugbahan sa Dalan, one of the highlights of this year's Tuna Festival.
The event was a success as the Pioneer Avenue turned into a picnic ground for thousands of attendees. It was participated by almost all sectors, there were representatives from the academe, different companies, organizations, and local and national government offices.
In his message, General Santos City Mayor Ronnel Rivera said that the Sugbahan sa Dalan this year is just a teaser for next year's Tuna Festival as the city will attempt to set a world record for the longest grill.
