Congratulations to the Drum and Lyre Corps of Alah Valley Academy in Surallah for winning the championship in the recently concluded Kalimudan Festival 2015 Drum & Lyre Open Competition held in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat last November 16.
The AVA's Drum and Lyre Corps bested twenty-three (23) other competing bands from all over SOCCSKSARGEN and brought home the grand prize of P150,000.
The Isulan National High School band settled as 1st runner-up while Esperanza National High School bagged 2nd runner-up honors. The two runners-up received P125,000 and P100,000 as cash prizes, respectively while other competing bands received P30,000 each as consolation prize.
