Alah Valley Academy from Surallah wins Hinugyaw Festival 2016 Drumline Competition

The 16th Hinugyaw Festival of the City of Koronadal officially opened yesterday, January 6, 2015 with a civic parade, followed by the 76th Foundation Anniversary Opening Program and the Drumline Competition - Battle of the Champions held at the South Cotabato Sports Complex.

A total of seven (7) contingents coming from various secondary schools in the towns of Banga, Polomolok, Surallah and the City of Koronadal joined the competition and competed for the bigger prizes of P70,00, P60,00 and P50,00 for the 1st place, 2nd & 3rd places, respectively.

Alah Valley Academy which bagged the championship of Kalimudan Festival 2015 Drumline Competition in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat last November was also declared Champion during the end of the competition. Meanwhile Poblacion Polomolok High School and Marbel 7 National High School settled for 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
