Duterte wins by a landslide in South Cotabato

As expected, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte won a landslide victory here in the Province of South Cotabato during last Monday's presidential elections.

Based on the partial and unofficial results as of 9:45 PM, May 10, 2016, majority of South Cotabateños voted for Duterte. The 71-year old mayor of Davao City who will soon become the 16th president of the Republic of the Philippines got 335,165 votes here or roughly 62%.

In the vice presidential race, Sen. Bongbong Marcos is ahead over Camarines Sur representative Leni Robredo. Marcos got 182,065 votes while Robredo got 167,718 votes.
