Congratulations to our
Governor Daisy Avance Fuentes for being this year's recipient of the
Jesse Robredo Leadership Award by the Galing Pook Foundation.
The South Cotabato governor personally received the award from Vice President Leni Robredo, wife of the late DILG secretary Jesse Robredo during the awarding ceremony held on November 11, 2016 at Novotel in Quezon City.
Gov. Daisy Fuentes was the third recipient of the Jesse Robredo Leadership Award which recognizes local chief executives who have shown effective, transparent, accountable, participatory, innovative and ethical leadership; showcase a culture of excellence in local governance through the institutionalization of policies, systems and practices; and motivate LGU leaderships and communities to sustain and enhance meritorious programs.
Last year, Mayor Ramon Piang, Sr of Upi, Maguindanao was the recipient of the Jesse Robredo Leadership Award while former Sarangani Governor Miguel Rene Dominguez was the first awardee in 2013.
