All set for Kulitangtang Festival in Tantangan, South Cotabato

With the theme "Gaining Prosperity through Peace and Unity", the municipality of Tantangan is all set for the celebration of their 57th Foundation Anniversary and 8th Kulitangtang Festival.

Various exciting events has been prepared by LGU-Tantangan headed by Hon. Mayor Benjamin "Toto" Figueroa not only for the residents of Tantangan but as well as their visitors. Check out the Kulitangtang Festival 2018 Schedule of Activities below.
Kulitangtang Festival in Tantangan, South Cotabato
Tantangan is dubbed as the Pottery Capital of South Cotabato. The town is known for its clay (white clay) which is suited for ceramic products, brick making, pottery, artworks and clay blocks for construction materials.

Kulitangtang was derived from a Maguindanaoan term "Kulitangtangan" which refers to the ringing of a bell during a gathering.
