Slated on November 14-18, this year's TREASURES REGION 12 Business and Jobs Fair 2018 will once again showcase government's commitment to enable more micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to become innovative and globally competitive, thus enable them to generate much-needed jobs that provide more income opportunities for the people.
To be held at SM City General Santos, the five-day business event package will once again feature local products, as well as a variety of services for would-be entrepreneurs, investors, and institutional buyers ranging from productivity and technology enhancement, capacity-building, market linkaging, business advisory and mentoring, to innovative business ideas and models from partner agencies and mentors/coaches.

Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay Stakeholders' Summit
- A convergence of government services, bringing it closer to the people. "Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay" brings government's service delivery -- such as those of the Negosyo -- down to the region's 1,195 barangays to spur enterprise creation and growth at the grassroots level. A MOU will be formalized among DTI, DILG, DA, DOLE, TESDA, and LGUs of the region during the Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay Stakeholders' Summit on November 14, 2018.
MSME Regional Congress
- A gathering of MSMEs, policymakers, and development partners from all over the region to discuss how to further maximize the potential of Philippine MSMEs as engines of economic growth. It is spearheaded by the local SMED Council, LGU-Gensan and DTI.
Trabaho Negosyo Kabuhayan Jobs Fair
- A jobs fair offering employment opportunities to jobseekers. Entrepreneurial learning sessions will be conducted for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to inspire them to become entrepreneurs by exploring viable livelihood options.
Regional CMCI Forum and Awarding
- The region's Local Government Units (LGUs), Provincial Government Offices, National Government Agencies (NGAs), the academe, and the private sector convene to further efforts toward competitiveness by way of productivity and good governance. A venue to recognize exemplary performance of the LGUs based on four pillars of competitiveness, namely: economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure, and resiliency.
