Governors from different provinces across the country gathered in Koronadal City last September 30, for the 2nd General Assembly of the League of Governors of the Philippines (LPP).
Hosted by the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, the meeting revolved around the following agenda: postponement of the barangay and sangguniang kabataan elections; recommendations of the LPP committee on agriculture and food, priority concerns of the DILG; and the proposed Act on the creation of the National Council of Local Government Units.
Held at the Farm at Carpenter Hill, the assembly was also an opportunity for the Provincial Government of South Cotabato to present its best practices in local governance.
