Tupi fire damage reaches P4 million

Around P4 million assets were damaged after a fire ravaged commercial and residential properties in Tupi Wednesday night, October 11, 2023.

This is according to Senior Fire Inspector Nore Lee L. Borinaga of the Bureau of Fire Protection Tupi in an interview. Two commercial/residential properties were totally damaged, including the homes of the Cornejo and Yabut family, Caburnay's Motorshop, Lopez Vulcanizing Shop, Lopez Sari Sari Store, Gonez Motor Shop, and Abella's Motor Shop.


Borinaga further stated that the fire reached the 2nd Alarm, and it was declared fire out at around 10:00 in the evening.

The investigation by BFP Tupi regarding the fire is ongoing. It is worth noting that this is the 10th fire incident attended to by BFP Tupi this year.
