Governor Tamayo leads successful 4th Quarter RPOC Meeting, reinforces commitment to peace and order in Region XII


On November 30, 2023, Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., serving as the Regional Chairman of RPOC-12, spearheaded the successful 4th Quarter Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) meeting at the Provincial Capitol of Sultan Kudarat in Isulan. The meeting brought together key stakeholders to address vital issues concerning peace and order in the region.

Among the important issues discussed during the meeting includes the National Security Policy for CY 2023-2028, Housing Programs for Former Rebels, ProPEACE Accomplishment Report, Lead to Serve (Association of Foundations), BEST BIDA AWARDS Indicators and Guidelines on Assistance for KIA/WIA Personnel (for Region XII).

Representatives from PNP-PRO XII, 6th ID PA, 10th ID PA, and the Peace and Order Councils (PPOCs) of four provinces provided detailed reports on the prevailing peace and order situation. The discussions centered on addressing challenges related to insurgency and violent extremism.

Governor Tamayo expressed his commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the region's residents. The collaborative efforts of the RPOC members underscored the shared dedication to maintaining peace and order in Region XII. The meeting marked another significant step toward achieving lasting peace and development.
